After all, I know what it’s like to be afraid. After struggling with panic attacks, severe anxiety, and depression, there were times in my life when I was too afraid to leave the house. It felt like I was suffocating under the weight of my fear, and—no matter what I did—nothing seemed to change.
Eventually, I realized that I couldn’t keep living that way. I didn’t want a life spent indoors, afraid to chase after my dreams, so I decided to relearn how to embrace risk, to make fear my friend, and to transform imposter syndrome into my secret weapon.
I’m tired of seeing creative, talented people waiting for things to happen instead of making them happen for themselves. Instead of chastising them, however, my goal is to support, encourage, and empower them to move through fear and do it anyway.
